Guidance Counsellor

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our staff at Mountainview High School as a Guidance Counsellor.
This role will involve working with students to support their wellbeing and mental health. Providing guidance and confidential counselling. Liaising with staff, whānau and external providers, as necessary, as well as administration and reporting. Confidentiality and communication are
vital to ensure this role is successful.
This role is part time, with hours to be negotiated. A job description is available upon request.
The preferred candidate would be a member of a registered body such as the New Zealand Association of Counsellors. Police vetting is required. A Post-Graduate Diploma or Masters in Counselling are preferred, but also open to considering Social Worker qualifications.

Careers and Pathways Co-ordinator

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our staff at Mountainview High School as our Careers and Pathways Co-ordinator.
This role will involve working with students, whānau, staff and external providers. Key tasks include; student guidance and support, pathways and transitions coordination, administration and reporting, event coordination and communication.
This position is term time only, part time, hours per week to be negotiated. Pay scale range of grade 2 to 4 with a Support Staff Collective Agreement.
