Guidance Counsellor

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our staff at Mountainview High School as a Guidance Counsellor.
This role will involve working with students to support their wellbeing and mental health. Providing guidance and confidential counselling. Liaising with staff, whānau and external providers, as necessary, as well as administration and reporting. Confidentiality and communication are vital to ensure this role is successful.
This role is part time, with hours to be negotiated. A job description is available upon request. The preferred candidate would be a member of a registered body such as the New Zealand Association of Counsellors, and must hold a relevant qualification suitable for this position.
Police vetting is required.
