Uniform Regulations - Year 9 and Year 10

Boys

  • Dark navy trousers or shorts
  • Green shirt, short or long sleeves with the Mountainview Monogram and tailored bottom
  • school tie
  • school blazer
  • school socks – long with red and navy stripe to be worn with the shorts
  • Black socks or long school socks to be worn with the trousers

Boys Optional

  • Knit Jersey - green jersey with red and navy neck stripe
  • Mountainview polar fleece – green with red trim and school monogram
  • School scarf
  • Sports cap
  • School beanie

Girls

  • Dark navy skirt
  • Green blouse, short or long sleeves with the Mountainview monogram and tailored bottom
  • school tie
  • school blazer
  • Black knee highs above the knee or black ankle socks which must show above the shoe

Girls Optional

  • Tailored navy shorts
  • Knit Jersey  - green jersey with red and navy neck stripe
  • Mountainview polar fleece – green with red trim and school monogram
  • School scarf
  • Sports cap
  • School beanie

Jerseys may be worn under the blazer, but polar fleeces may not.

Year 11, Year 12 and Year 13

Regulation uniform as per the junior uniform.

In the senior school, green shirts are replaced with white shirts for both boys and girls. The white shirts may be , short or long sleeved with the Mountainview monogram and tailored bottom

In Year 13 the tie is also replaced with a red striped tie.

Formal Occasions

The blazer and tie must be worn to school assemblies and at any time students are representing the school in the community. Both may be worn at any time as part of the everyday uniform, which many students choose to do.

Optional Clothing Items

Apart from the regulation uniform, students also have a series of options to complement their everyday wear.  Also available is a Mountainview anorak, trackpants and a House/ Whanau tee shirt.

Uniform Sales

The uniform is available from our uniform office located on the school grounds. This office is run by volunteers from  our PTA committee.

The office is open each Thursday between 12noon and 1.30pm

The 1st and 2nd Saturday of each term between 11am and noon.

Full fittings are by appointment only.
