Sports

At Mountainview we pride ourselves in giving our students as many sporting opportunities as possible. All the major sports are played but we also add such sports as bowls, shooting and archery for those who are looking for something different.

Sports are offered at different age levels and this often means there is something for everyone, regardless of age or ability. The school participates in at least two exchanges with other schools which may also include chess, debating and theatre sports.

SPORTS PAVILION

Mountainview is in the process of launching the production of a sporting pavilion on site. It is expected that production by the Polytechnic will be started in February of 2016. This community project will also be available for hire but essentially will be used as a changing facility and a spectator venue to watch sport. With the pavilion being a joint initiative. Star Cricket Club use the Mountainview square as their home ground.
